The Puronizer works silently – as the pool water passes through the in-line cell unit, copper and silver ions are released reducing bacteria and killing algae.

If a swimmer suffers from a skin allergy from chlorine or is asthmatic or finds chlorine affects them, then the Puronizer under set conditions can, in low use private pools, be used without chlorine.

If the pool owner is away from home for long periods of time or has a holiday home overseas, a Puronizer ensures, with the aid of the filter, that on return the water is just as clear and free of algae as when they left. Prior to swimming the pool should be shock dosed with chlorine and the pH and chlorine should be brought to the correct level.
